In company with over 650 exhibitors, the Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show is
preparing to celebrate 45 years with new features, beautiful gardens, knowledgeable experts, and fun
for the whole family. The event will be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Thursday
through Sunday, March 1-4.
World Famous Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel will make her farewell appearance at the Fort
Wayne Home & Garden Show prior to her scheduled retirement this summer. Guests will have 11
opportunities to watch Twiggy ski, learn about water sport safety, and even take selfies with the
famous squirrel. Twiggy is set to perform on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 12:30p, 3:30p &
6:30p. Sunday appearances are at 12:30p and 3p.
Also scheduled for the show are the guys from Northern Indiana’s MBN Properties, recently
featured in the HGTV pilot Small Town Big Flip. The four brothers and friends, all experts in the
real estate industry, are specialists in reconstruction and rehab of affordable homes. They’ll be at the
show to present industry tips, tricks, and trade secrets, and even offer advice on personal projects.
Appearances are Thursday through Saturday at 11:30a, 2:30p, and 5:30p. Sunday show times are
11:30a and 2:15p.
And perennial Fort Wayne favorites Mad Dog & Merrill, those self-proclaimed “grillologists,”
return to educate and entertain backyard cooking enthusiasts as they share their finer points of
grilling – Thursday through Saturday at 1p, 4p and 7p, and Sunday at 1p and 3:30p.
In addition, over 20 Master Gardeners from the tri-state area will converge for four days of
educational seminars and discussions. Full details and class schedules can be found at www.homegardenshow.

Among products and services showcased by hundreds of exhibitors will be items for kitchen, bath,
exterior landscaping, interior decor, windows, siding, roofing, gutters, patios, driveways, and more.
There also are myriad cash-and-carry items available for same-day shopping.
Guests will want to be on the lookout for Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show staff and their
“Showbucks.” Every hour during the event’s run, staff will circulate throughout exhibit areas and
hand out “Showbucks” at random to lucky guests. Each “Showbucks” certificate is good for $100,
and can be spent just like cash with exhibitors at the show. Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show
producer Karen Tejera says, “It’s just like finding a $100 bill on the floor!”
The Family Fun Area returns to delight the young and young-at-heart with numerous hands-on
activities, displays and more. Themed after Little House on the Prairie, kids (and adults) can touch
exotic animals, watch martial arts and dance demonstrations, learn how to make a balloon creation,
meet adoptable animals, and much more.
The Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show takes place March 1-4 at the Allen County War Memorial
