Community Foundation Of Greater Fort Wayne Awards $5,000 Grant To A Hope Center

A Hope Center has been awarded a grant in the amount of $5,000 by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. These funds will be used to provide services including pregnancy tests, STI tests, parenting programs, and options counselling to A Hope Center Clients, free of charge. These funds will be used to care for our clients, women and men, facing an unplanned pregnancy.

“We are excited to partner with A Hope Center at such an opportune time for the people who need their services most,” stated Brad Little, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. A Hope Center plans to reach those without transportation by providing their services on a medical mobile. The medical mobile can be parked in strategic areas of Fort Wayne and New Haven. A Hope Center is currently raising funds to buy this medical mobile later this year.

Executive Director, Jo Faulkner, stated, “It is encouraging when the community we care so much about sees value in what we do and supports our efforts to help the women, children and families of Fort Wayne. We appreciate the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and their financial support of letting our clients know, You Matter and We Care.”
