Matthew 25 Health & Dental Clinic Receives Gold Rating

Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic of Fort Wayne, Indiana, earned a 2020 Gold Rating from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) Quality Standards Program.

“This award is a great honor,” declared Mark Dixon, CEO. “We share the same goal as the NAFC, which is to ensure that the medically underserved have access to not only affordable care but also high quality health care as well. We are working toward this goal in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio, but the NAFC works with organizations across the country. This award demonstrations that we are delivering high caliber care comparatively on a national scale.”

Matthew 25 is a long-term member of NAFC and voluntarily submits information to the national group on the various policies and procedures in place to attain the standards rating. We attest and pledge that the national standards are successfully incorporated within our organization.

This award would not be possible without the hard work and expertise of our staff and volunteers, as well as the leadership of our Board of Directors. We will continue to provide medical, dental, and specialty care at no cost to our patients who are low-income adults with no insurance. Most of our patients work, but are unable to access affordable care or are plagued by chronic health issues that make full-time work difficult. We also recognize our donors who keep our clinic and medication programs running.
