The Child And Adult Care Food Program (Cacfp) For Emergency Shelters And At-Risk Afterschool Meals Programs

Community Harvest Food Bank, NE IN. today announces sponsorship of the Child and Adult Care Food Program for the following sites:

• Jennings Youth Center 1330 McCulloch St., Fort Wayne, IN 46803, Monday – Thursday 5:00-5:30PM and Fridays 4:30-5:00PM

• Wessier Park 802 Eckart St., Fort Wayne, IN 46806, Monday – Thursday 5:00-5:30PM and Fridays 4:30-5:00PM

• Cooper Youth Center 2300 Creighton Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46803, Monday – Thursday 5:00-5:30PM and Fridays 4:30-5:00PM

• McMillen Youth Center 3901 Abbott St., Fort Wayne IN. 46806, Monday – Thursday 5:00-5:30PM and Fridays 4:30-5:00PM

• Euell Wilson Center 1512 Oxford St., Fort Wayne IN 46806, Monday – Friday, 3:00PM-5:00PM.

Meals will be available at no separate charge to enrolled children without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

The goal of the program is to improve the diets of children and increase the opportunity for children to eat a variety of nutritious foods. The meals and snacks served meet standards established by the United States Department of Agriculture for the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
