HealthyStart Classes Help Fort Wayne Area Residents Get Healthy In The New Year

Every January, millions of people make resolutions or goals for the new year. What goals do you have for 2019? If you said to get healthy, you’re not alone. The top New Year’s resolutions people make are to lose weight, eat healthier, and improve their life.

“Resolutions or goals are a great way to make start the year off on the right foot. Unfortunately, 80% of resolutions fail by February,” says certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach & Educator, Heather Dahman of the Veg Academy and founder of the Fort Wayne Vegans & Vegetarians Group and the Fort Wayne Veg’n Brew Fest. “That’s why we’ve created the HealthyStart Classes. Our classes will provide expert guidance, tools, and resources to help you keep your New Year’s resolution to get healthy and improve your life.”

Through the HealthyStart course, Heather will show you how you can lose weight, lower your LDL cholesterol and risk of heart disease, prevent or reverse diabetes, reduce your risk of chronic disease including certain cancers, and increase energy just by changing the way you eat.

Through the 6 HealthyStart classes, attendees will learn how to:

  • lower cholesterol and triglycerides to improve heart health
  • lose weight without exercise or feeling deprived
  • increase energy
  • cook and eat delicious & nutritious plant-based meals
  • slow the aging process
  • transform their health & life

Attendees will get the tools and resources they need to look and feel their absolute best including a list of foods to eat & avoid, a 3-day meal plan with shopping list, and easy kitchen cleanse.
