FWMoA Receives $1 million

The Fort Wayne Museum of Art has received a $1,000,000 grant from the June E. Enoch Foundation to establish the June E. Enoch Collection Fund. The gift will be used to create a fund to acquire and care for works of art for its collections.

“The Museum of Art has maintained an active collecting program since our 2007-2010 American Art Initiative Capital Campaign, and this visionary gift from the Enoch Foundation will allow us to continue to grow our collection in ways that are meaningful to our audiences,” said FWMoA CEO Charles Shepard.

In December, the FWMoA Board of Trustees gratefully accepted this gift with a unanimous vote to approve the conditions of the gift that will govern this fund.

The late Ms. Enoch, who died in 2017, was a longtime member, volunteer, and donor of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. She served on its Board of Trustees for several terms beginning in 1980, contributing much expertise to the museum’s finance, education, and facility programs.
