Strack Fitness Opening Nov. 26 In White Swan Plaza

A new fitness facility is opening its doors on November 26 in the White Swan Plaza, on the far north side of Fort Wayne. Strack Fitness, located at 9171 Lima Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46818, is named after company founder Cody Strack, a certified personal trainer who has been training people the past four years. The center will offer 45-minute, high-intensity circuit training fitness classes on a membership or drop-in basis, as well as one-on-one personal training by appointment.

The 45-minute group training classes will run six days of the week. Throughout each day, the same workout will be offered multiple times, but the workout routines will vary from day to day. Monday through Friday, the 45-minute sessions will have starting times from 5:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday there will be two sessions, at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Strack is excited to be opening his new business and sharing his love of fitness. “I want to offer a ‘local feel’ type gym. I want everyone to feel comfortable with each other and cheer each other on,” he said. Monthly membership packages will be affordable in price, according to Strack, who also will offer drop-in rates for individual workouts.

Strack is a client of the Northeast Indiana Small Business Development Center, where he received business start-up guidance and promotional marketing assistance. He is a Fort Wayne native who attended North Side High School and graduated in 2007 from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (now known as Purdue Fort Wayne) with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in media production.
