Young entrepreneurs Beth Stutzman and Emily Baker recently opened a new furniture boutique in Fort Wayne and are hosting a Grand Opening celebration this Saturday, August 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The House to Home boutique is located at 1501 East Berry Street, Suite 107, in the historic brick building that formerly housed Wayne Candies. In addition to boutique tours, the Grand Opening festivities will include Lucille’s BBQ food truck and a pop-up coffee shop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a discount off of food items at the neighboring Summit City Brewerks after 2 p.m., while supplies last.
House to Home offers “a wide variety of quality, trendy furniture and décor at prices that allow you to do more than just window shop,” according to the owners. “We aren’t your average home furnishings store; our inventory always stays fresh, as we get new stuff in almost weekly and it is always on point with current trends and styles.”
Both Stutzman and Baker are young mothers who say they “love creating beautiful spaces and investing in the city of Fort Wayne.” The owners have experience, both professionally and personally, with redesigning and decorating spaces for friends, family and clients. Stutzman attributes her design inspiration to her grandparents’ New England-style home, and Baker brings a bit of her West Coast style and taste to the table.
House to Home is open three days of the week: on Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to selling furniture and home décor items at the boutique, future plans are to offer home staging and design services.
