Information Session On Commercial Chronic Problem Property Ordinance To Be Held Feb. 15

The Fort Wayne Police Department invites business owners, operators, managers and employees to an information session on the commercial chronic problem property ordinance that was passed by City Council last fall.

The information session will be from 9 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Feb. 15 in Conference Room 440 at Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry St.

The information session will include presentations from the following departments:

Fort Wayne Police Department

Fort Wayne Fire Department

Neighborhood Code

Animal Care and Control

Metropolitan Human Relations Commission

Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health

The presentations will also cover other related topics as well.

Last fall, City Councilman Tom Didier led an effort in partnership with Mayor Tom Henry, City Council and several City of Fort Wayne departments to successfully enact a commercial chronic problem property ordinance to address challenges at a number of commercial properties.
