The Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Indiana (DSANI) will host its 18th Annual Buddy Walk on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne.

The Buddy Walk is a walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. This year’s 1.1 mile Walk will also have many fun activities for the family, including a photo booth, crafts, games, a Strider bike Adventure Zone, and a dance party!

This year’s fundraising goal is $90,000 which helps DSANI in its efforts to enhance the lives of people affected by Down syndrome, advocate on their behalf, provide information and support to families and professionals and promote acceptance and inclusion.
