Fort Wayne Pit Bulls To Benefit From NOOTERS Club Pop-Up Store Sept. 17

NOOTERS Club as in pet spay and NEUTER will launch its first online pop-up store September 17, 2016 as a fundraiser for Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition rescue group during its annual Pits in the Park family fun event in Fort Wayne.

NOOTERS Club promotes pet spay and neuter and responsible pet guardianship through its whimsical dog, cat and rabbit-themed people and pet apparel and gifts. The company is also known for its comprehensive on-line directory of low-cost pet spay and neuter clinics throughout the U.S.

The NOOTERS Club® pop-up store will appear at nootersclub.org/pitsinthepark, with $5 from every t-shirt, $2 from every dog tank top and $1 for all other items sold, during the September 17 Pits in the Park event, going to the Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition spay and neuter fund for pets of low-income families. The online pop-up store will be easily accessible from smart phones and tablets, will take PayPal and credit cards, and will ship all items on the next business day.

This is the first time that NOOTERS Club® has created an online pop-up store and hopes that the concept will encourage pet lovers in Fort Wayne, or anywhere, to purchase merchandise during the designated timeframe to benefit Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition.

We traditionally sell NOOTERS Club® items at pet expos or online, and have never tried something like this, says NOOTERS Club® president Linda Wasche. Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition is a hard-working group that cares for and finds homes for this wonderful breed all over Northern Indiana. We are proud to be working with them and hope we see lots of support.

The Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition Pits in the Park event, to be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Freimann Square in Fort Wayne, will feature a meet and greet with adoptable dogs, live bands, food trucks, a raffle, pet related vendors, kids activities, a dog costume contest and Pit Bull parade open to everyone. Admission is free. For more information, go to www.fwpbc.com.

Everyone is looking forward to this years Pits in the Park which has become a popular event in Fort Wayne, said Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition Board President Megan Close. We are excited to have NOOTERS Club® on board and are looking forward to growing our funding for Pit Bull spay and neuter in northern Indiana.
