ROSTER MOVES: The Padres have transferred right-handed pitcher Angel Mejia to Extended Spring Training. Taking his spot on the roster, San Diego has called up lefty Nathan Foriest from Extended. On Monday, 2B/SS Peter Van Gansen was activated off the Disabled List, while OF Mason Smith was transferred to Double-A San Antonio.
