Huntington County Extension will be providing two workshops on June 14, 2016 at 11:00am and 5:00pm at the Victory Noll Center in Huntington, Indiana.
This Butterfly Workshop will feature butterfly life cycles, butterfly facts and myths, and information on how to attract butterflies. Butterfly eggs, caterpillars in varying stages and butterflies will be available for viewing. Participants will tour a milkweed patch, weather permitting, to search for Monarch butterfly eggs. Depending on availability, participants will take home butterfly eggs or caterpillars to raise and release.
The workshops will be held at the Victory Noll Ministry Center located at 1900 West Park Drive, Huntington, IN. The program is appropriate for all ages. If you are interested in learning more about these endangered Monarchs and other butterflies, please call (260)-358-4826, or email gRelated
