The Fort Wayne Chapter of SCORE is proud to announce that the local Chapter has been recognized by its District chairman as the “ 2015 District Chapter of the Year”. The District includes 10 chapters located in Northern Kentucky, Indiana, and southern Michigan. The award was given in recognition of the local chapter’s Leadership, Dedication, and Service to the local Small business community in District 0562 and stands as a model to all other chapters.
The Award was presented by SCORE District Director, Bob Kasprzak, to Dennis Oberlin, current Chairman for the local Chapter. Mr. Kasprzak also noted in his remarks that the reward was a tribute to the local chapter’s outstanding continuity of leadership program that identifies key personnel to fill future leadership positions 4-5 years out.

The Fort Wayne Chapter of SCORE, a volunteer mentoring group of retired and working business professionals, is seeking to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in starting up and growing existing businesses in the nine counties making up North East Indiana. SCORE’s mentoring services are completely free to the public.
