Ivy Tech Northeast To Host Latinos Count Conference


WHAT:
The Latinos Count Student Conference invites Latino students from area public and private high schools to learn about what it’s like to be a student at area colleges and universities. The following institutions are participating: Ivy Tech Northeast, IPFW, University of Saint Francis, Indiana Tech. Goshen College, Grace College, Trine University, Manchester University, Huntington University, and Questa Education Foundation.

Students will attend breakout sessions with topics including financial aid and prepping for college. They will also have a networking lunch with the opportunity to meet Latinos working in the community and attend a student panel.

Latinos Count is a Fort Wayne organization focused on helping Latino students commit to additional learning at two- or four-year colleges or universities or an apprentice program. Learn more at LatinosCount.org.
