USF Art Exhibit Examines Conflict In Society

The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts presents “CONFLICT: Jared Applegate, Eric Carlson and Justin Johnson” January 27-April 3, 2016, in the Lupke Gallery at USF’s North Campus, 2702 Spring Street. The show will open with a reception on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 6 p.m.

Each of the three artists will present a new body of work that centers on conflict and how it relates to contemporary society. Applegate, a USF 2-D art instructor, will present chalk drawings on chalkboard; Carlson, a USF 3-D art instructor, will present mixed-media ceramic works; and Johnson, the School of Creative Arts gallery director, will present mixed-media ink drawings.

Lupke Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. All galleries on the USF campus will be closed March 25-27 in observance of the Easter weekend.

The USF School of Creative Arts is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). For more information about School of Creative Arts events, visit art.sf.edu.
