The Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities is hosting two town hall meetings on Oct. 21 to gather Fort Wayne citizens’ input on disability topics and issues, which is necessary for developing the Council’s Five-Year Strategic Plan. Feedback will help guide the Council’s activities and funding priorities.
During the meetings, participants will join roundtable discussions on seven key issues: Leadership, Health Care, Education, Employment, Transportation, Community Supports for Children and Adults, and Legal Justice/Rights. Participants are asked to register online before the meeting so they may be assigned to tables.
