The event this year will happen from 5-8pm Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 in downtown Angola, with Soldiers’ Monument being the focal point. Project manager Dan Campbell hopes to gather 400 cars from across the area for the event.
The event will feature live music by Retro Radio, food, and a festival like atmosphere. US Highway 20 is planned to be closed for the duration of the event. The closure will allow participants and visitors alike to enjoy walking freely throughout the downtown area, enjoying its historic atmosphere amidst unique vehicles celebrating the automobile’s illustrious history in the U.S.
