Tom LaBarr has joined the staff of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne as the General Manager of Aramark. LaBarr’s role as the Aramark General Manager at the Memorial Coliseum will include overseeing and managing the Aramark operations in catering and concessions.
“We are excited to welcome Tom to the Coliseum team, as we prepare to open the Conference Center in early 2016,” said Memorial Coliseum Executive Vice President & General Manager, Randy Brown. “Tom’s experience and knowledge of the high end restaurant market is key to positioning the Memorial Coliseum and the new Conference Center as the area’s premier event and culinary destination.”
LaBarr comes to the Memorial Coliseum from the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fort Wayne where he served as Food and Beverage Director. As the Food and Beverage Director, he oversaw the operations of catering and events at the hotel.
Prior to coming to Fort Wayne, LaBarr opened and managed the Osteria Pronto restaurant at the new JW Marriott property in downtown Indianapolis, with White Lodging. Before that, he served as the managing partner for Buca di Beppo Restaurant in downtown Indianapolis for 9 years. He has over 20 years of operations and management experience in the food service industry.
