On Saturday, March 7, 2020, the Allen County SPCA will host it’s 6th Annual Pawject Runway. The red carpet event will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center with doors open at 6:00pm. With a crowd of nearly 500 pet lovers expected, only a few tickets remain.

Pawject Runway features the creative talents of groomers from all over the tri-state area as they transform dogs into works of art and compete for top prizes. This year, 20 competing groomers will work the runway with their canine models while attendees will enjoy photo ops from the “puparazzi”, a silent auction, hor d’oeuvres, cash bar, and more.

“Pawject Runway is such a fun event, and it’s the only one of its kind in Fort Wayne,” said Allen County SPCA Executive Director Jessica Henry. “It allows groomers to showcase their skills and pet lovers to support a great cause. If you’ve never seen creative grooming in action, prepare to be wowed! These dogs really do get transformed into works of art.”

All proceeds from the even benefit homeless pets at the Allen County SPCA, especially the Angel Fund, which helps to provide medical treatment for shelter pets experiencing severe illness or injury.
