Allen County Department of Environmental Management’s (ACDEM) household battery and fluorescent bulb recycling partner Umber’s Do It Best at 2413 Lower Huntington Road, Waynedale is closing permanently. Their final business day is Friday, Jan. 31, 2020. The closing of the store was a decision made by the owners of Umber’s Do It Best.
Allen County residents who recycle their household batteries and fluorescent bulbs at Umber’s Do It Best at Waynedale are encouraged to use ACDEM’s business partner store Connolly’s Do it Best at Southgate (5521 S. Calhoun Street) as it is the next closest store in the county for household battery and fluorescent bulb recycling.
