Habitat For Humanity & Bridge Of Grace Ministries Announce New Partnership In Southeast Fort Wayne

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne & Bridge of Grace Compassionate Ministries Center are pleased to announce a new partnership in the Mount Vernon Park Neighborhood of southeast Fort Wayne. Habitat is honored to come alongside Bridge of Grace to build homes, provide more affordable opportunities for home ownership, and help fulfill their vision of building thriving and sustainable neighborhoods in Fort Wayne’s southeast quadrant. The first home-build of this collaboration is set to kick-off at 8:00 am Thursday, Sept. 12th at 1220 E. Pettit Avenue. Please join Habitat CEO Andrew Gritzmaker and Bridge of Grace CEO Javier Mondragon on Friday, August 23 at 7:30am for a press conference to announce the partnership and reveal new home designs. Additional speakers will include Allen County Councilwoman Sharon Tucker, Chairman & CEO of Fort Wayne Metals Scott Glaze, County Commissioner Nelson Peters and President & CEO of Greater Fort Wayne Inc. John Urbahns. Partners underwriting the Mount Vernon Park Build include: Fort Wayne Metals, Purdue Fort Wayne, Shambaugh & Son, PHP & Sweetwater Sound.
