The Indiana Department of Transportation announces that pipe liner installation is scheduled to begin on I-469 on or after Monday, July 8, weather permitting.
Drivers will see work occurring on the shoulders in the locations below:
• I-469 over an unnamed tributary of Houk Ditch, between mile 13-14
• I-469 over an unnamed tributary of Brindle Ditch, between mile 3-4
INDOT reminds drivers to be cautious of crews working in any active construction zone.
The contract was awarded to Brooks Construction for $2.6 million and work is expected to be completed by late September, weather permitting. The contract also included the resurface of I-469 in 2018.
