Retirement Celebration For Laura Brinkman

The public is invited to a retirement celebration at the museum on Thursday, June 27 from 4 – 7pm for the “First Lady of the Classics” and 40+ year employee of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, Laura Brinkman.

Wine, beer, and soda, accompanied with heavy Hors d’oeuvres, will be offered as part of the celebration of the long career of Ms. Brinkman, former Executive Director of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. Laura joins the handful of extraordinary women involved in the international world of classic automobilia and the history of preserving the work of the Auburn Automobile Company and Duesenberg, Inc.

In an appreciative spirit, Laura’s long and distinguished career as a museum professional, community leader, and loyal Auburnite will be honored. Come share with her your memories, maybe a photo or two, and lend your well-wishes for a happy and well-deserved retirement.

Per Laura’s wishes, please no gifts. If you would like to honor her, donations may be made in her honor to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
