Join the Whitley County Country Quilters for a fun-filled four-day bus trip to the ‘Quilt/Textile Capital of the World’ Paducah, KY from Thursday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 15. It’s the Fall 35th Anniversary American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Quilt Week featuring national instructors, exhibits, classes and a vendors’ hall with fabric, notions and more! And to celebrate, AQS will have ‘the world’s largest quilt cake’ made and presented by Mauro Castano of Carlo’s Bakery, featured on TLC’s Cake Boss.
Along with admission to the show, highlights of the bus trip include a stop on the way at the Wooden Spool Quilt Shop in Effingham, IL; entrance pass to the National Quilt Museum and gift shop and a free tour of the 1860 Whitehaven Antebellum Mansion. We will join quilters from all over the world and take a city bus tour with ‘Quilt Man’! For information about the AQS Show, go to: http://www.quiltweek.com/locations/fall-paducah/
