Time To Register For Lemonade Day Northeast Indiana

Lemonade Day Northeast Indiana is around the corner on May 11 and it’s time to register area youth for a fun learning experience.

Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand. Lemonade Day has spread to over 57 cities in 23 states and 3 countries. We are proud to announce that this year kids in Allen, DeKalb, Noble & Whitley counties will get to join in on the fun.

Each child that registers receives a FREE backpack with an Entrepreneur that teaches them the valuable lessons of Lemonade Day -including how to set a goal, make a plan, work the plan and achieve their dreams. Once a youth pays their investor back, they keep all of the money they earn and are encouraged to spend some, save some, and share some of their profit.

Come to Lemonpalooza on April 27, 2019 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Jefferson Pointe Children’s Play Area! Mayor Tom Henry will be there to read the Lemonade Day Proclamation at this free event. Lemonpalooza will include fun, hands-on activities to teach kids how to make their lemonade stand a success! Bring a quart of lemonade and enter the Best Tasting Lemonade Contest for a chance to win awesome prizes. Learn more at LemonadeDay.org/Northeast-Indiana.

Parents, Mentors, Teachers and Youth Leaders are encouraged to register their youth online at LemonadeDay.org/Northeast-Indiana.

Once registered, backpacks can be picked up at the following locations by bringing a copy of your registration to Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, Girl Scouts of America, area libraries and at Lemonpalooza on April 27. Check LemonadeDay.org/Northeast-Indiana for a complete list of locations.
