Ivy Tech Fort Wayne To Host I-Career And Job Fair Events On Wednesday

Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne is hosting two events on Wednesday, April 24: a construction-focused I-Career Day aimed at high school students and the Advanced Automation Robotics Technology & Industrial Technology Job Fair, which is open to the campus and community.

During the I-Career event, approximately 120 students from local high schools will be connected with construction program chairs, current students, and their career interests. Students will have the chance speak with construction instructors, take part in construction lab activities, attend the career fair, and take tours of The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center.

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne will also host an Advanced Automation Robotics Technology & Industrial Technology Job Fair on Wednesday, where 25 recruiters will meet with Ivy Tech students and alumni, as well as the community. Employers in attendance will include Aerotek, Dana Incorporated, Gateway Coalition, Fort Wayne Metals, Metal Technologies, Inc., Rea Magnet Wire, Robert Bosch, Shiloh Industries, Steel Dynamics Inc., and Taylor Made.
