Fort Wayne Parks And Recreation Announces House Catering Open Bid

The Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation Department has begun the open bidding process for the provision of catering services at three major private rental facilities: Salomon Farm Park, the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, and Promenade Park, which opens this summer and is the first phase of the Riverfront Fort Wayne development project.

This bidding opportunity allows for interested parties to bid for service contracts to be a designated “House Caterer” for all rental events taking place within one, two, or all three locations. All renters of the respective facilities must commission the service of a “House Caterer,” giving the selected business the opportunity to reach hundreds of rental clients each year. This is a lucrative opportunity for businesses within our community to expand their service ability.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for February 21 at 11 a.m. at the Botanical Conservatory’s Saguaro Room. Bid packets will then be due on February 28 at 11 a.m. Late bids will not be accepted.
