Kevin Wright is promoted to Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, succeeding Ben Campbell, who will retire at the end of 2018.

“This role demands a deep understanding of credit, a profound appreciation for our sales culture and accompanying technologies, and a commitment to delivering superior customer experience to businesses of all sizes – all of which Kevin exemplifies,” says chief executive officer, Jim Marcuccilli. “It is bittersweet that Ben Campbell is retiring, but we know the future looks bright with Kevin as his successor.”

Wright has extensive banking and financial experience and has been with STAR for about a decade. Throughout his tenure, he has spent time as a Credit Analyst, Commercial Credit Manager, and Commercial Banker. He also serves as a member of STAR Financial Group’s Board of Directors.

Wright has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Taylor University, an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Butler University, is a graduate of Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and earned a Leadership Certificate from the Wharton School of Business.

Wright is an active member of Northview Church and Woodland Country Club, serves as a mentor at EDGE Mentoring, and is a member of the Indianapolis Business Connection Committee at Taylor University.
