Cathedral Books & Gifts will be announcing a brand-new name on Friday, November 2, 2018 at a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 8 a.m. at the Archbishop Noll Catholic Center, 915 S. Clinton St, Fort Wayne.

The ribbon cutting will take place during an open house that the bookstore is hosting beginning with Mass at the Good Shepherd Chapel in the Archbishop Noll Catholic Center at 7 a.m. and continuing with festivities in the store until 5 p.m. The new name of the bookstore came after several months of obtaining suggestions from the community. The person who submitted the winning suggestion will also be recognized at that time. The open house will feature story time for children at 10 a.m., refreshments, exclusive sales and is open to the public. Exclusive sales and promotions will be available all day throughout the store.

The announcement comes after months of community input and research. General manager of the store, Kara Slocum stated, “We are proud to serve the community by providing so many Christian books, gifts and resources for persons to grow in their faith.”

Free parking is available at the Archbishop Noll Catholic Center from either the Washington St., or Clinton St. entrances.
