Visiting Nurse Hosts Virtual Conference

Visiting Nurse is hosting the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s annual Virtual Conference July 18-19 at the Peggy F. Murphy Community Grief Center, 5920 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne IN 46814. This continuing education opportunity is being presented at no charge for participants.

This year’s virtual conference, “Turning Points: Mastering Transitions in Care,” features experts in hospice and palliative care speaking on a variety of topics, including sexuality and intimacy during serious illness, management of comorbid behavioral issues and using communications to enhance end-of-life care. The virtual conference runs from 12 p.m.-5:30 p.m. July 18 and July 19.

This educational activity offers continuing education credit (CEU) for advanced practice registered nurses, nurses and physicians. A Certificate of Participation is also available for non-physician healthcare professionals. Continuing education credit is provided at no charge to participants who confirm their attendance at specific conference sessions and evaluate those sessions.
