Registration is open for Science Central’s popular Summer STEM Camps, and they are filling up fast!
Campers will be able to explore the world of science and technology all summer at Science Central! We offer seven weeks of single day camps; full-day, week-long tech camps; and half-day, week-long tech camps.
Summer Camps begin June 4 and continue through Aug. 3. There will be no camps the week of June 25-29 and July 2-6.
Single day camps are designed for ages 5-11. The cost per day is $30 for non-Members and $25 for Deluxe Members. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and programs run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Choices of single day camps are:
· June 4-8: The Science in Fiction and Fantasy
· June 11-15: Don’t Try This At Home!
· June 18-22: Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead!
· July 9-13: Summer Sampler Platter!
· July 16-20: The Science in Fiction and Fantasy (Repeat)
· July 23-27: Dangerous Adventures: Plunge Into The Past!
· July 30 – Aug. 3: Don’t Try This At Home! (Repeat)
Full day, week-long tech camps are designed for ages 8-13. The cost for the week is $150 for non-Members and $135 for Deluxe Members. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and programs run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. "S.T.E.A.M. Punk" from June 18-22 is SOLD OUT.
· July 16-20: Engineering Tech! (Ages 10-13)
Half-day, week-long tech camps are for ages 5-13, but vary by session. The cost for the week is $125 for non-Members and $115 for Deluxe Members. Morning sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and afternoon sessions run from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Junior Lego Robotics (a.m., June 4-8), Introduction to LEGO Robotics (p.m., June 4-8), and Introduction to Gaming (a.m., June 11-15) are SOLD OUT.
Parents and campers will be able to choose from:
· June 11-15 (p.m.): Introduction to Gaming (Ages 10-13)
· July 9-13 (a.m.): Junior LEGO Robotics (Ages 5-8)
· July 9-13 (p.m.): Introduction to EV3 LEGO (Ages 8-11)
· July 23-27 (a.m.): Introduction to EV3 LEGO (Ages 5-8)
· July 23-27 (p.m.): LEGO Games! (Ages 10-13)
· July 30 – Aug. 3 (a.m.): Junior Computer Programmer (Ages 8-13)
· July 30 – Aug. 3 (p.m.): Ms. Tech (Girls only, ages 8-13)
