Fort Wayne Children’s Choir To Host Annual Spring Concert

The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir (FWCC) will host its annual SPRING CONCERT on Sunday, May 6, in the Auer Performance Hall in the Rhinehart Music Center at IPFW.

All eight ensembles of the FWCC will have the opportunity to take the stage and celebrate the theme “Music in Motion.” Over 300 kids from diverse backgrounds will come together for one purpose. Singers will demonstrate their command of music literacy while delighting the audience with a variety of selections.

“This year, the FWCC has worked very hard to learn music from a variety of styles and genres,” says Jonathan Busarow, Executive Artistic Director. “Similarly, students in the choir come from a variety of places and backgrounds. Each week, these young singers demonstrate the ability for music to overcome all differences as they work towards a common goal. The final concert of the year will allow our students to share with our audience, and the community, music in motion. Incorporating movement into our singing, we will also move around the concert hall creating a collage format for the audience. The concert will be packed with wonderful music, moving seamlessly from piece to piece”
