Rescue Mission Easter Meal On Sunday

The Rescue Mission will host its annual Easter Dinner on Sunday, with plans to feed more than 2,000 people in the community. Anyone who is in need of a meal is welcome to come between noon and 3PM.

Like all other meals at The Rescue Mission throughout the year, this special dinner is provided free-of-charge to the public at 301 W. Superior Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. The Easter meal is made possible by donated food items from area individuals and groups, cash donations, and the assistance of more than 100 volunteers.

This year’s dinner is ham, carrots, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls, as well as assorted pies. Rescue Mission cooks and volunteers will be preparing the meal on Easter morning.

The media is welcome to attend. For more information about the meal or The Rescue Mission, please contact Director of Marketing and Donor Engagement, Natalie Trout, at natalie or at 260.452.6272.
