Fort Wayne SOUP hosted its first of four events in 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM last night at The Summit (1025 W Rudisill Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46807). More than 110 members of the Fort Wayne community purchased tickets and cast their vote for the winner.

The four presenters, Rich Hoppe, Hillary Knipstein, Jacquelyn Scott, and Debra Treesh, were chosen to pitch their ideas at the event. With the help of donations from Parkview Health and Strahm Building Solutions, and funds raised through ticket sales and donations at the door, the winning presenter walked away with over $2,000. Rich Hoppe’s pitch for fundraising for the Fort Wayne Indoor Skate Park was the winning presentation.

The next SOUP event is Thursday, June 14 from 6-8 pm at The Summit and will feature presenters under the age of 18.
