Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana (MHANI) has been awarded a grant in the amount of $20,000 by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. The funds from this grant will be used to for operating support.

This grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne will help support the programs we offer to the Northeast Indiana region, including consumer advocacy and peer support, education and trainings, guardianship services, Cedars Hope, and Kids on the Block™. Through these programs and services, MHANI serves over 4,000 individuals in Northeast Indiana every year.

“The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne’s continuing support of all of MHANI’s programs allows us to more effectively serve individuals in Northeast Indiana who are facing a mental health, substance use, and/or disability challenge, Lisa Smith, Executive Director, commented following the award of the grant. “Operating funds cover the expenses that may not be tied to a particular program, but are vitally important to the success of the organization. We are glad that the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne sees the value of such costs.”
