Start Fort Wayne Hires Community Manager

Start Fort Wayne is announcing the hiring of their new Community Manager. Sheri Replane began her post at the beginning of January and is fast becoming the new face of the Atrium, Start Fort Wayne’s downtown coworking space and the home of the organization.

Replane moved to Northeast Indiana in the fall of 2017, relocating from Colorado to her husband’s home state to be closer to family. As an Event Director for more than 10 years, Replane has executed over 500 events nationwide, including large outdoor festivals, corporate events, trade shows, educational seminars, youth entrepreneurial camps, and national teaching conferences. She also brings vast experience in fundraising, social media, sales, and marketing. Before moving to Fort Wayne, she was the Director of Development, Events, and Possibilities for Watershed School, a small private school in Boulder, CO.

The Community Manager for Start Fort Wayne not only runs the day-to-day operations at the Atrium, but also connects with the community of entrepreneurs and creates events and opportunitities for entrepreneurs to interact. This position will engage with founders, listen to their needs, and help facilitate solutions.

"Following the Techstars report on the state of the entrepreneur ecosystem in Northeast Indiana, where the region scored a 1 out of a possible 7 in the "Culture" category, it was apparent that work needed to be done in community- and culture-building surrounding entrepreneurs. Start Fort Wayne announced the Community Manager position in November and we are thrilled to bring Sheri on board and use her vast talents and skills to help us address this key need for founders and startups in our region," says Rhonda Ladig, executive director.

Replane states, "I couldn’t be more excited to join the Start Fort Wayne and Atrium team! I look forward to working with our members and the entrepreneurial community to create opportunities and events that support our mission."
