Fort Wayne RV & Camping Show Opens February 1st

Celebrating its 58th year, the annual Fort Wayne RV & Camping Show returns to Allen County War Memorial Coliseum February 1 – 4.

This year’s show features more RVs and more variety than ever before. Featured this year are ten of the region’s top dealers. Whether attendees are interested in exploring the RV lifestyle or are a seasoned camper, there will be something for everybody at this year’s show. On display and on sale will be a variety of lightweight to full size travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, park models and motor homes of every size.

More families than ever before are finding that RV vacations cost substantially less than other forms of vacation travel, even when factoring in fuel prices and cost of ownership. A new study by PKF consulting found that an RV vacation can save up to 62% from other forms of travel.

“RVing is a fun, flexible and affordable way for families to spend quality time in the outdoors,” said Matt Rose, Director of Recreation Vehicles with Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council. “In addition to vacation travel, owners use RVs for tailgating, travel with pets and to participate in outdoor sports and other leisure activities.”

The show is a great place for buyers to compare features, floorplans and RV types from a wide variety of manufacturers. With so many dealers all in one place it’s also a great place for buyers to negotiate their best price. Many of the RVs are priced at 20% to 25% below MSRP.

The Fort Wayne RV & Camping Show will also include campground exhibits and RV accessories. RV factory reps with be on hand and dealers will be offering tremendous show prices.
