Collective State, which features local art and music, invites the public to their location for this unique event from 7p to 9p at 1321 E. State Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. This is the first in their series of storefront art installations! The talented Lissa Brown of Tiny Clementine Art will be showcasing a beautiful new exhibition focusing on bees, the "Hive Mind," and the collective consciousness which will be on display through the month of January. Lissa is working in conjunction with Southwest Honey Co., and they will be in house to discuss their organization and mission! Live music will be provided by Jared Andrews (Old Pup Records)! Their beekeeping practices are “bee-safe,” research based and their hives are kept in sustainable areas. Their organization is made up of volunteers and partners who want to help the honey bee population. They have also partnered with local conservation “minded” organizations to study, report and address the issues surrounding the honey bee.
