1st Source Bank Donates $5K To Expand Ombudsman Program In Ft. Wayne

1st Source Bank donated $5,000 to expand the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program of Northeast Indiana. This contribution will allow the non-profit to add 10 new certified volunteer ombudsmen and expand the program.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program of Northeast Indiana is dedicated to promoting the highest quality of life for people living in long-term care facilities in Northeast Indiana through advocacy and empowerment. The non-profit will empower residents and family member to advocate for themselves or their loved one.

Regional President, Larry Mayers commented, “1st Source Bank recognizes the positive impact that the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program has on the lives of residents in the community. We take an active interest in building a strong community and we recognize the importance of advocating for those that are unable to protect themselves. 1st Source is pleased to be able to provide resources that allow for expansion of this program.”
