Bishop Luers High School will be celebrating Veteran’s Day 2017.
On Nov. 9, the school’s Sodalitas service groups will create care packages with handwritten letters to be delivered to the homeless veterans and veteran patients at the Veterans Affairs Hospital at the Fort Wayne campus.
The Bishop Luers community is also inviting former USAF Capt. Guy D. Gruters as the keynote speaker to conclude the day’s events. He will be speaking to the Bishop Luers High School community starting promptly at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9. The high school extends an invitation to all interested members, especially those who are active duty and retired servicemembers of the United States military.
