Fundraising Walk Raises Money For Local People With Cancer

Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will hold the 2017 Lapper fundraising walk and Survivors Day Celebration on Saturday, May 13, 2017 to raise money to help people with cancer.

A cancer diagnosis exponentially increases the emotional and financial stress on families. The money raised through this walk stays in Northeast Indiana to help our neighbors and friends who have cancer.

There are three ways to participate: 1) raise money and walk at the event, 2) make a donation or 3) become a sponsor. Many participants walk or donate in honor of a friend or loved one.

Register to participate or make a donation online at www.Lapper2017.kintera.org. Registration forms are also available at Cancer Services. Walkers who register and raise at least $35 by May 1 may receive a commemorative Lapper t-shirt. Water and fresh fruit are provided during the walk, which takes place rain or shine.

After the walk, the public is invited to the Survivors Day Celebration at 11 a.m. The celebration includes food, music and fun for the entire family.
