Byron Health Center will highlight the talents of residents and staff during the 4th annual Byrons Got Talent event on Sunday, March 19th starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Eakin Family Room at Byron Health Center, 12101 Lima Rd on the north side of Fort Wayne. Residents and staff will be involved in nearly a dozen & ½ acts, which are secured to perform, including both groups and solo acts. Performances range from comedy, singing, dancing and even karaoke.

Participating acts will be assessed on presentation, production and originality by several celebrity judges including WANE TV Chief Meteorologist Nicholas Ferreri, Fort Wayne CW Station Manager Barb Richards, K105 On-Air Personality Aricka McCauley and ‎Director of the Breast Diagnostic Center at Fort Wayne Radiology Marita Dwight-Smith as well as a super-secret Byron Health Center staff judge. Performers will be competing for special recognition in one of four performance categories including Most Entertaining Solo Act, Most Entertaining group Act, Most Original Act and Audience Choice Act.

The two-hour event will be hosted by Fort Waynes own Jack Hammer. After a successful 25 year career in Radio, Hammer reinvented himself as the Executive Director of the Three Rivers Festival, Indianas second largest summer festival. As a lifelong MC, entertainer and musician, Hammer has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Rock & Roll. Hammer also enjoys being a part of helping to make Northeast Indiana and Fort Wayne a better place to live and play.

The event is free of charge and the public is encouraged to attend. Special friends of Byron Health Center have received exclusive invitations, including congregation members of Keefer Creek Baptist Church and students, staff and parents from both Eel River and Oak View Elementary School. Some light refreshments will be served, including popcorn and punch.
