More than 1,000 men will gather at the Century Center in downtown South Bend on February 18, 2017 for the largest gathering of Catholic men in Indiana – the Rekindle The Fire Annual Diocesan Men’s Conference.
For the seventh year in a row, Catholic men of all ages from the Fort Wayne-South Bend diocese and beyond will participate in a daylong event that will include inspiring talks from nationally renowned speakers. Featured this year are Patrick Madrid from Catholic Answers & EWTN, Doug Barry, who is back by popular demand to speak about spiritual warfare and evangelist musician Chris Padgett.
This year’s conference, highlighted by the theme, “Takin’ it to the Streets,” will be a dynamic, spirit-building experience that will help men grow closer to Christ, equipping them with the courage, wisdom and strength to “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature,” in their everyday lives. The event begins at 9 a.m. and includes an afternoon Mass with the Most Reverend Kevin C. Rhoades, Bishop of Fort Wayne-South Bend. will preside over Mass. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available as well as other Catholic vendors.
