#GivingTuesday – Support The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum

The holiday season is a perfect time to sit back, enjoy time with our family, friends, and reflect on our blessings and seekout ways to make our community a better place. #GivingTuesday is a special call to action to create a global day of giving that brings diverse organizations and communities around the world together to give back. It celebrates the generosity by providing outlets for giving – of time and money.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum is a National Historic Landmark situated in Auburn, Indiana. It welcomes guests from around the globe every year, and it plays an integral role in our community’s travel and tourism industry with visitors shopping, eating, and staying local. Support of the Museum is imperative to its continued national and international acclaim and success.

#GivingTuesday is the perfect time for you to pledge your support to help ensure a successful end to 2016 for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.

“On Tuesday, November 29, or #GivingTuesday, the Museum will host its final fundraiser of the year ‘100 Today or Else We Stay,’” said Kendra Klink, chief operating officer of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. “The goal, or idea, of this event is to garner support for the Museum by collecting donations. Throughout the day we will be accepting donations of any and all sizes via phone call or stopping in the building, but until we reach our goal of 100 donations of $100 or more, we will have staff here…possibly staying up all night until our goal has been successfully accomplished.”

“You won’t meet a more dedicated or passionate staff,” said Laura Brinkman, executive director and CEO. “This group of men and women are excited to push the Museum forward and the calendar of events and activities they have put together for 2017 is wonderful. You will see the Museum hosting presentations, trivia nights, family activity days, and so much more. It is going to be a great year and we are excited to share it with you.”

To support the “100 Today or Else We Stay” initiative as part of #GivingTuesday, call (260) 925-1444 to make a donation on Tuesday, November 29, 2017. Staff members will be on hand beginning at 8 am EST through when the 100th donation is made to accept your donation on the phone or in person.
