Economic Forecast For NE Indiana/Ft. Wayne Delivered Today

The annual Fifth Third Bank Economic Outlook Luncheon returns to Fort Wayne Thursday as the Bank’s chief investment strategist discusses the challenges and opportunities for the local and regional economy of Northeast Indiana.

Jeff Korzenik, the chief investment officer and managing director of the Fifth Third Bank Investment Management Group, will bring his unique perspective on the economy to a presentation beginning at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Ceruti’s Catering, 6601 Innovation Blvd., in Fort Wayne. The annual economic luncheon, now in its 16th year, is sponsored by Fifth Third and the local chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).

With nearly 30 years of investing experience, Korzenik contributes often to the national dialogue about investment and economic issues. He is a frequent guest on CNBC and Bloomberg television and has been published in The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe, Forbes and other periodicals on topics related to economics and public policy.

Korzenik, who is responsible for Fifth Third’s overall investment strategy, travels the country sharing his insight to business owners and civic leaders. He is responsible for more than $26 billion in assets under management by the Bank. He joined Fifth Third in 2009.

He will provide information relevant to local business owners as well as those with global operations.
