Gay Men’s Awareness Day

National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day is on Tuesday, 27 September, a day of action to focus on what each of us can do to reduce the toll of HIV among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. Gay and bisexual men account for about two thirds of the new HIV infections in the United States each year and make up about one half of the population living with HIV in the United States.

To mark National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, the Positive Resource Connection is offering free HIV testing from 9 AM to 4:30 PM at our office at 525 Oxford Street. We are also offering free HIV testing from 10:30AM to Noon at the Neighborhood Health Clinics at 1717 S Calhoun. No appointment is necessary at either location.
