August 19, 2016 The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend announced the date for the 3rd Annual Cupertino Classic: a basketball game between teams of priests and seminarians. This friendly competition will take place on Tuesday, December 27th at 6:30 p.m. at Bishop Luers High School (333 E Paulding Rd, Fort Wayne). Admission to the game is free and the public is invited to attend.

Tripling previous attendance records, over 1,800 attended last year’s match and organizers expect this year’s game to draw an even larger crowd. “”This event is a way to celebrate and grow our sense of Catholic Community in our diocese,” said event organizer Father Drew Curry. “It is a great opportunity to welcome people who are not Catholic to experience our joy in Christ, and hopefully the young people will see that living for Jesus whether it be in married life, religious life, or priesthood is an adventure full of life."
