New Principal Appointed For Arlington Elementary

The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees on Monday, Aug. 8, approved the appointment of a new principal for Arlington Elementary School for the 2016-17 school year.

David Weber, Arlington Elementary, Principal

David Weber joined FWCS in 1976. He worked as an elementary school teacher until he became principal of Maplewood Elementary in 1992. In 1996, he became a technology coordinator and returned to a principal position in 2004 as principal of Pleasant Center Elementary, which is now closed. In 2006, he moved to Glenwood Park Elementary where he has served as principal for 10 years. At Arlington, he replaces Diane Dikeolakos, who resigned. At Glenwood Park, retired Principal Stephany Bourne will fill in until a permanent replacement can be found.
