LAST NIGHT: Fort Wayne fell to Bowling Green, 13-5.

STAR WARS JERSEY AUCTION: The TinCaps may have lost on the field on Friday night, but the team’s Star Wars jersey auction raised $4,654 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

3 MILLION FANS: Parkview Field is just 3,017 fans away from welcoming in its 3,000,000th fan since the ballpark opened in 2009. The 3,000,000th fan will have a chance to win $3 million in a surprise contest following tonight’s game.

PACKED PARKVIEW FIELD: Friday’s crowd of 8,180 was the largest of the season here and the eighth sell-out of the season. Fort Wayne’s average attendance so far this year of 5,606 is the second highest among the 60 Single-A clubs and tops 26 of 30 Double-A franchises and 14 of 30 Triple-A organizations. Even with 2 rainouts, this is the highest ever attendance for the TinCaps through 33 games.
